From drying herbs for medicine or flowers to preserve the memories of yesterday, I can't imagine not having these bundles hung throughout my house. I wanted to make a collection that captures the beauty of immortal blooms and an ode to the memories they keep. Even when just kept for their beauty, there is power in their soothing, reflective nature.
This necklace is the second piece of this collection. An all natural moss agate filled with falling frilly blooms set between two twine bound and hung bouquets softly shedding petals.
Handcrafted out of Fine Silver (.999) and Sterling Silver (.925) and weighing approximately 2.4 ounces. It has been given a dark patina and then given a bright, heavily brushed finishes. Measures approximately 2.75" x 2.5" at longest and widest points including leaf adorned bail. Hung on an 18" sterling silver chain.
In addition to the leaf adorned bail, this chain has been finished with a toggle clasp (my favorite!) wrapped in matching silver "twine".
