Falling leaves...
An old tradition is the practice of catching a falling leaf in Autumn! Many believe if you catch a leaf falling in mid-air, it will grant you luck and magic! Some also take the opportunity to make a wish. So wish upon a falling star.. AND a falling leaf!
This piece which is entirely handmade out of sterling and fine silver, is a homage to catching falling leaves in fall. It features an amazingly beautiful piece of Madagascar labradorite which glows the color of a thousand orange leaves. The back also offers a large cut-out which allows it to glow with the season. Below, one extra large leaf; a single and large Maple leaf cast from the real thing!
Measuring approximately 3" x 1.25" at widest and longest points including bail. Strung on a 20" chain as shown above which has been blackened to match. The entire piece weighs approximately 1.10 ounces with chain and the pendant itself is delightfully lightweight!
As always, all stones are genuine and valuable and are ethically sourced and cut.
