An old tradition that none are precisely certain of origin, is the practice of catching a falling leaf in Autumn! Many believe if you catch a leaf falling in mid-air, it will grant you luck and a cold/flu-free winter. Some also take the opportunity to make a wish!
Entirely handmade out of sterling and fine silver, featuring an amazingly beautiful iron included quartz stone. I've held onto this piece for many years, as it was just waiting for the perfect piece. This is it! The inclusions truly look like a fallen Autumn leaf surrounded by leaf litter, capture in time within the quartz.
Measuring approximately 2.3" x 1.9" at widest and longest points including bail. Strung on a 24" chain as shown above. A substantial piece, weighing 1.4 ounces.
