An old tradition is the practice of catching a falling leaf in Autumn! Many believe if you catch a leaf falling in mid-air, it will grant you luck and magic! Some also take the opportunity to make a wish! So wish upon a falling star.. AND a falling leaf!
This piece is a homage to catching falling leaves in fall. It offers a rare and valuable stone known as Hessonite garnet. This variety of garnet is a wonderful vibrant orange, unlike any other! Below this glittering window of autumn is a single, falling leaf. This leaf offers incredible detail and is cast from a real Sugar Maple leaf!
Measuring approximately 1.5" x 1" at widest and longest points and rests on a decorative split band as shown above and is a size 5.
