Circle of Salt
Magic circles of protection and containment are sacred spaces marked to draw in and contain energy and/or to provide an area of magical protection.
Found in grimoires, magic manuals, supernatural tale, legend and movie, the most commonly known type of magic circle is the circle of salt; providing protection from the foulest ghouls and beast that stalk the living.
As if falling salt is captured in time, this piece of lodolite quartz offers inclusions that conjure images of sprinkling, falling salt. This special stone is surrounded by a silver salt circle. It is one of, if not the, largest of these I have made! Measuring approximately 2" x 1.6" and weighing approximately 1 full ounce.
Entirely handcrafted out of Sterling silver and fine silver, resting on a heavy edged band as shown above. Sized 9, I'm sorry but unfortunately I can not resize this piece.
Each item is individual and handmade meaning no production lines are found at Dark Fawn. In this inherent nature, each piece will feature "imperfections" as the evidence of the individual eye and human touch each piece receives; making them all the more unique, ever more valuable and filled with energy. If in the future, the patina wears off (as is the nature of it, giving it a more aged look as time goes on), simply send the ring back to me and I will re-blacken it for free.
