Dreamscapes..
As we transition out of blanketed tree tops, crackling fires and the nip of first frosts, the slumber and dark days of the seasons just left have been on my mind. Not quite into full fledged spring, this has led my thoughts in the direction of dreamscapes... Velvet colors, feathery horizons and billowing clouds.
A ring made of stardust forged in an intoxicating starscape.
A pale pink morganite is paired with a violet based blue tanzanite and set on either side of what appears to be a captured star. This star is what is known as "star rutile" and is a very rare and valuable stone. Strongly illuminated by light, its as if sunbeams of pure gold shoot through the quartz. Rising crescent moons and several pinches of star dust dance around the pillow-y cloud shaped piece.
All stones are genuine and natural. Made entirely out of Fine Silver (.999), Sterling Silver (.925) and brass. This piece measures approximately 2.3" X 1" at longest and widest points. It has been given a dark patina and then finished with a mixture of brushed and high polishes.
A size 9 and resting on a double split band as shown in the above pictures. Unfortunately this is not adjustable and I can not resize it for you.
