Forget Me Not.
A ring of sweetly colored stones set against textured frilly layers, topped with scrolling filigree on which a single forget-me-not has been placed. This forget-me-not flower has been cast in silver from the real thing!
This demure bloom may not be as grand in appearance as say a large rose or bouquet of lilies, but in the Victorian language of flowers it is a powerful symbol of veritable and profoundly true admiration. Representing an enduring unshakeable bond, it was often give to friends or loved ones prior to a period of separation as well as frequently featured in mourning jewelry of the period.
This particular ring has paired two stones:
A window of faceted point of pale and ghostly rose quartz, plus a drop of welo opal.
Measuring approximately 1.5" x .8" at widest points and resting on a split band as shown above, etched with scroll and flower. A size 9, unfortunately I can not resize this piece.
PLEASE NOTE: Each item is individual and handmade meaning no production lines are found at Dark Fawn. In this inherent nature, each piece will feature "imperfections" as the evidence of the individual eye and human touch each piece receives; making them all the more unique, ever more valuable and filled with energy.
