Dreamscapes..
As we transition out of blanketed tree tops, crackling fires and the nip of first frosts, the slumber and dark days of the seasons just left have been on my mind. Not quite into full fledged spring, this has led my thoughts in the direction of dreamscapes... Velvet colors, feathery horizons and billowing clouds.
This dreamscape ring features a pairing of three dreamy stones which compliment and allow each other to shine.
A large Australian lighting ridge opal which offers ribbons of unicorn confetti,
A faceted moonstone with icy and royal blue flash,
and lastly a carnival cotton candy colored tourmaline offering pinks and raspberry blues.
Silver stars, a guiding star and golden crescent moon dance around these stones which are all genuine and natural.
Made entirely out of Fine Silver (.999), Sterling Silver (.925) and brass. This piece measures approximately 2" X .6" at longest and widest points. It has been given a light grey patina and then finished with a high polish.
A size 6 and resting on a double split band as shown in the above pictures, PLEASE NOTE: This band is thinner than the beasts I typically use. It is still substantial and comfortable but unfortunately it is NOT adjustable and I can not resize it for you. THIS PIECE IS MARKED AS "BLEMISHED"; It is common for opals to fracture or "craze". I knew this opal had fractures/"crazing" even before I began cutting it but it was just too beautiful to not finish! In order to assist the opal's wear, I also "backed" the stone with an epoxy backing layer. This backing is on the underside and not on top. You should still use the usual care and do your best to avoid wearing this piece while doing any physical labor, etc.
