A little starfish sweeping itself beneath the kelp and sand is carved out of vintage Angel Skin coral; a rare, all natural coral of blue hues. Its nest of silver beneath the waves is a (tiny) tower of ocean treasure! From barnacles to kelp, smell shells, to even tiny little bubbles.
While these "Dreaming Among the Stars" resemble the "Tidal Tower" pieces they are smaller, much more lightweight versions of them! With the same effect and feel, including the seashell band, just on a smaller scale.
The band on this piece, a string of shell and a sand molded moon, has been hollowed on the inside to ensure comfort even if your fingers tend to swell. It weighs approximately .35oz in total and measures approximately .75" long.
PLEASE NOTE! Angel Skin coral is a delicate "stone". As with all handmade jewelry, care should be taken. It is not advised to sleep/bathe/shower/swim/garden/workout/heavy physical activity that carries high risk of hitting the starfish against a surface etc while wearing. This piece can be cleaned with dawn soap and a soft toothbrush and all solvents and chemical cleaners should be avoided.
