Cat Familiar
It is said to be wary of a strange cat who crosses your path, for it may not be a cat at all but perhaps a witch's familiar - or even a witch themselves!
The same is also said for other various creatures of the wood such as the owl or toad. Creatures of the dark and damp who aid a witch in magic; happy to lend their supernatural assistance. Familiars are loyal and guiding guardian and protectors, and one would be wary of crossing paths with one less than catch a witch's attention or ire.
This "Cat Familiar" ring features crossed brooms, cats and a tiny witch hat which sits atop a tourmaline which eerily resembles an eye. One possible way to identify a witch was the eyes: some tales say they are milky, or pupil-less, or vibrant pink. This vibrant pink stone is tourmaline whose "pupil" appears to be that of a cat! A very unique stone! Below the brooms, a large drop of dark and highly reflective stone sits as a scrying stone of polished hematite.
Handcrafted out of sterling silver, this piece weighs approximately 1 ounce, measures 2.6" x 1.1" at widest points and rests on a thick, edged split band as shown above. It is a size 8.
