Dear, sweet Lucy... the bloofer lady.
Necklaces of garlic and their flowers hung throughout her room were not enough to save sweet Lucy who was stalked by a being who assumed all manner of beasts of the night including bat and wolf. Despite all her and Van Helsing's efforts, the bat would continue to beat against her windows in attempts to fed and turn her into a bride of Dracula.
A strand of garlic is hung around a stunning example of garnet in quartz. With the back of the stone cut-out to highlight the garnets, it conjures images of suspended blood droplets like the drops of blood found upon her collar. Below, the bat which calls to her and a large pure garnet drop.
Handcrafted out of sterling and fine silver, this pendant has been given an elongated bail (with single silver drop upon it) so that it may be worn with a ribbon. A few strands of silk ribbons of various colors will be included along with an 18" sterling silver chain should you chose to wear it with that instead.
Given a mixture of brushed and high polish finishes, with mostly high polishing. Weighs approximately .8 ounces. Measures approximately 2.9" x 1.3" at widest points.
As always, stones are ethically and artisan cut.
