It is said to be wary of a strange cat that crosses your path for it may not be a cat at all but perhaps a devil, a witch or a witch's familiar.
Often you see a witch familiar depicted in most media as a naturally born companion creature, but what if the familiar doing her bidding was a golem! Cast out of the earth and formed of mud and branches and moss as it was breathed into its final form.
This cat has been "cast from the earth" and is covered in silver "lichen", "mosses", "mushroom" and "mud". This particular pendant also offers a broom and "witch eye" stone. This stone is a piece of pink tourmaline with black pupil, for it is also said that one can decipher a witch by her pink eyes! (Among other such tells like double pupils or lack of pupil entirely)..
Handcrafted out of sterling silver and measuring approximately 2.1" x .75" at widest and longest points including bail. It has been given a medium-grey patina and then finished with a mix of both brushed and high polish finishes. Strung on a 20" sterling chain as shown above. This listing is for ONE pendant; the exact pendant shown in the first picture.
Each item is individual and handmade meaning no production lines are found at Dark Fawn. In this inherent nature, each piece will feature "imperfections" as the evidence of the individual eye and human touch each piece receives; making them all the more unique, ever more valuable and filled with energy. I also offer a lifetime guarantee on the blackened patina. If in the future, the patina wears off (as is the nature of it, giving it a more aged look as time goes on), simply send the ring back to me and I will re-blacken it for free. Did I leave anything out? Please check out my FAQ!
All materials, tools and everything utilized at DarkFawn is 100% vegan.
