There once was a stone cottage with a witch hat for a roof. Set deep in the woods amongst pooling shadows and the olden spirits, it kept the forest as the forest kept it. Candles could always be seen in its windows, casting spells against the stones, and the aroma of lavender and ember sung through its floorboards.
With a heart wandering to forest fairy tale witch cottages built out of the ruins of the elder mountains, this piece takes me traveling along mushroom lined trails and maps marked by fairy circles. The stone cottage and witch hat have been carved out of wax and cast into solid silver. The band is cast from a lichen-covered oak twig and is chunky and comfortable.
Handcrafted out of fine (.999) and sterling (.925) silver and given a dark, slightly worn patina. Weighs approximately .65 ounces. A size 7.75, on a thick and spooky oak branch band.
